Our approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia. We support children as inquisitive learners who are deeply curious and capable. Experiences are planned to spark creativity, thinking and reflecting. Teachers develop emergent curriculum, respond to and encourage the ever-changing interests of the students. Our goal is to ignite your child’s sense of wonder about the world and their place within it. We have created a carefully planned environment designed to excite a love of learning and provide a solid foundation for reading, writing, math, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while also emphasizing their social and emotional development. Children will learn through discovery and developmentally appropriate experiences rather than through formal academic instruction.
Hours & Options for Enrollment
Our hours are 7:45 am – 5:30 pm
We offer part-time and full-time enrollment to accommodate a variety of family needs.
We are open year-round and follow the Essex Westford School District calendar for school vacations and snow days.
Growing With Wonder will provide a morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack to students over 12 months of age every day. With our Reggio Emilia inspired philosophy, all meals will be served family style to encourage our students to engage in conversations with each other and the teachers. These conversations, as well as our family style approach to serving food, will help our students develop important social skills they will use for the rest of their lives. Meals will be prepared in the kitchen by the kitchen teacher and all health regulations will be followed to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff.
